Eva Longoria Parker Files For DIVORCE From Tony Parker?! For Real This Time?!

After yesterday's "false alarm" on Splitsville Lane where reports hit the Tony Parker filed for divorce from Eva Longoria Parker, NEW reports state Eva just filed this morning!

 

Where there's smoke, there's fire.  Deets when you read on...

So it looks like the Parkers are over afterall. 

People.com is reporting that Eva filed the papers this morning in L.A. Superior Court.  And even though it has't been confirmed, rumors are abuzz saying Tony's infidelity is the reason.  I have a feeling a few San Anotnio groupie are about to start making their way to Gloria Allred's office.  According to the site:

The Desperate Housewives star's documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court just one day after her rep denied that Parker had done the same in a Texas court.

The cause of the split wasn't immediately revealed. But this past week the couple have been rocked with infidelity rumors, with claims that Tony has been unfaithful.

Reports state that the french San Antonio Spur baller and the "Desperate Housewives" actress did indeed have a prenup when they wed 3 years ago in a castle outside of Paris.  So who knows how this ish is going to turn out.

Kinda sad about this one.  Wasn't really expecting it, but we shouldn't be surprised about any type of cheating in the NBA.  Oh wells. 'C'est la vie.

Emma Roberts: BIFA Beautiful

Halle's Boyfriend Olivier Physically Attacks Paparazzo To Protect Halle?!

Drama at Mirabelle's!  Halle B. and her booski Olivier Martinez hit up Mirabelle restaurant in L.A. for lunch Friday.  And, after arriving in separate cars, the two had a run in with the paparazzi on the scene.  And Olivier had to hold it down for his woman.

Halle started out her lunch date with Olivier smiling.  But ish quickly went left when reportedly the paps on the scene were harrassing Halle.  A nasty scuffle happened after the "Dark Tide" co-star couple coudn't take anymore of the foolery. 

According to Gossip Girls:

Showing his machoism, Olivier walked around his car and got in the face of the photographer before proceeding to shove the shutterbug violently.

Yelling profanities as he hopped in the car, Martinez reportedly backed his car out of the property at a high rate of speed which caused the photographer to fall to the ground.

Insiders tell that the Los Angeles Police were called to the scene, with the belief that Olivier might just get into a bit of trouble for his aggressive driving.

Is it just me...or is there something so sexy about a man who will fight a random ass person on the street for you...and does it in a french accent?

 

Halle was escorted out of the restaurant by the owner.  Well that was an eventful lunch...

New Competition for Bloggers: Fast Food Content

Michael Arrington at TechCrunch has an interesting post here about the rise of fast food content.

But for every link there are dozens of sites that outright steal our content with no attribution. Not just spam blogs, even the NYTimes does it. This isn't a copyright issue - the stories are rewritten by actual people. But it's far cheaper to simply take the news and rewrite it - if you can get away with it - than to hire people who do actual journalism. Over time, it becomes a competitive tax that is difficult to bear.

But even then, companies like ours can find a way to compete.

So what really scares me? It's the rise of fast food content that will surely, over time, destroy the mom and pop operations that hand craft their content today. It's the rise of cheap, disposable content on a mass scale, force fed to us by the portals and search engines.

Michael Arrington is absolutely right that this is on the rise. There are new companies emerging that are hiring lots and lots of writers very cheaply to produce tons and tons of content. It probably isn't a coincidence that these companies have emerged during a recession when many people are looking for a way to increase their income.

The search engines will certainly point people toward some of this content. Not all of the content these companies create will be bad but some of it is bound to be. This shouldn't mean the end of original hand crafted content but these mass content producers will certainly increase the competition that content creators face. There are ways around it. Social media tools like Twitter and Facebook can point readers to the higher quality posts and articles. If bloggers will link to each other more like they did in the early days of blogging that it will help too. This should, in theory, help weight the better written content above the subpar content.

YouTube to List Sources That Generate Lots of Video Views

YouTube announced today that it will begin listing the sources of views that help make YouTube videos become popular. This might be an opportunity for blogs to get some traffic if they help help build the most views for a particular video.

What this means is that you can get recognition for sourcing videos that your readers love and helping those clips become popular on YouTube. It's another way all that hard work you put into building your readership can pay off and generate even more traffic for your blog or site. You might even get your site in front of a whole new audience via people who encounter it for the first time on YouTube.

YouTube says they are experimenting with the functionality on a range of popular videos and plan to make it a permanent feature. The Muppets "Stand By Me" video was given as an example.

Britney Spears Twitter Account Hacked Again

Britney Spears' Twitter account, @britneyspears, was hacked for at least the third time today. A downside to having a high profile Twitter acount is that hack attempts are more likely. Britney's account is the 2nd most followed and the 8th most listed. Unlike in the past when hackers have taken over groups of high profile accounts Britney's Twitter appears to have been the sole target. The hackers tried to make it seem as if Britney is a Satan worshipper.

Britney's web team - which has its own list now on Twitter - tweeted the following apology.

Twitter to Launch Twitter Lists

Twitter blogged yesterday that it will soon add a feature called Lists. The lists could be a game changer and help end the comfy ride those on Twitter's Suggested Users List (SUL) have enjoyed for far too long. There will probably be attempts to game it and lots of "please add me to your list" tweets. There is some risk with this feature because if people can follow everyone on a list all at once then they are more likely to follow a list that includes a malware spammer. Twitter could also create a public database showing Twitter accounts that are included in the most lists. Twitter's API will probably allow developers to do something like this.

The following aspect is interesting but the real value in the lists is not so much in following but in allowing Twitter users to segment their Twitter followers, and allow them to track tweets by self-chosen categories such as news, business, family, friends, etc. The lists are public by default but there will likely be lots of private lists. Hopefully, Twitter never has an error that lets people see someone's private "Frenemies" list.

The lists should increase following on Twitter, which is one of the reasons Twitter created the SUL in the first place. Most Twitter users don't follow very many other people and these lists should help. If the Twitter Lists make it easy for people to track by groups or categories that help them then it may also increase the amount of time people spend on Twitter.
